It is with great sadness that I must say that this is my last full day of this trip and after I enjoy some time in Lake Powell I must head north to Salt Lake City with a few stops here and there. I just drove around Lake Powell, enjoyed the marina area, enjoyed a few jackrabbits I found hopping around, and just the general beauty of the area.
A quick stop at Navajo Mountain Viewpoint…
Next big stop was Coral Pink Sand Dune State Park…I had passed this on the way to Lake Powell but didn’t want to take the time to explore because it was getting late but I was curious and did manage to find it on the way back. It is a huge park and I only saw a tiny fraction of it but it was kind of cool to see the people out there riding the dirt bikes.
I stopped in this little town of Panguitch…
Some while driving from AZ to UT again…there was one stretch of long, winding, narrow road and about 30 RV’s in front of me…lost a bit of time there but some of them pulled over to let traffic pass when they had a place to pull off.
Some random from the road…the metal horses were decorative outside the entrance to a private community…
Closer to Salt Lake City…
And that ends another glorious trip on the road! I would show you images of flying back to Logan but I can’t find them! Where will my travels take you next? You’ll have to come back to find out. 🙂
